Handmade Valentine's card I'm quackers about you
This is a handmade Valentine's or anniversary card. It's 15x15cm
I took inspiration from Chinese 鸳鸯, a pair of loving mandarin ducks. Chinese ducks often show up in a pair, they are a symbol of conjugal affection, and eternal love. They also frequently feature in poems and paintings.
I first create a paprrcutting of the mandarin ducks, then use it as a stencil in screen printing and print them by hands.
Please note that every print is slightly different because of they are hand printed at home.
Each card comes with an envelope and a string. There is no plastic packaging.
